Apart from the weather, which, let’s face it, isn’t quite on a par with the Caribbean Sea, Fiesta Havana offers punters a trip to Cuba at the end of a two-minute walk from Fulham Broadway tube station. That’s not only the result of a food and drink menu designed to tease the taste buds, but also because of the décor which makes the bar resemble a true Cuban drinking den- from old walls to crumbling murals – and a cultural agenda that goes beyond the usual combination of salsa music and dancing lessons.
Fiesta Havana originally had something of a sports bar atmosphere but these days concentrate on the latin-caribbean front and to attract a client-base interested in more than just drinks and football, and the establishment now has a mouth-watering tapas menu with 19 varieties of tapas and main dishes.
