Growing ever larger since 1966, the Notting Hill Carnival has become the largest festival celebration of its kind in Europe. Every year on the August bank holiday weekend over 1 million carnival revellers head to the streets of West London to enjoy the delights of twenty miles of vibrant colourful costumes with hundreds of Caribbean food stalls and 40 static sound systems along the way.
