CASA Latin American Theatre Festival 2010

It is time for the arrival of this year’s spectacular CASA Latin American Theatre Festival, taking place at Oval House Theatre from the 9th-13th November.

This will be the third festival and naturally the best yet. In just 5 days, it will showcase the award-winning work of four brilliant companies from Argentina, Colombia, El Salvador and Uruguay. The quality of the work is exceptional and the venue is warm and welcoming and very easy to get to, plus there’ll be music, art on the walls, poetry, drinks and much more. To find out more, visit

Winner of Uruguay’s National Theatre Awards for Best Play and Best Actor (Carlos Rodriguez), Cabrerita recounts the tragic life of painter Raul Javiel Cabrtera.

(Teatro del Presagio / Colombia)
12 & 13 Nov at 19:45, 13 Nov at 16.00
Award-winning Acéfalos (“without a head”) is a visually arresting theatre show that challenges how we perceive violence. Surreal, abstract and darkly funny, this is Latin American physical theatre of the highest quality.
