Ayrton Senna documentary comes to the UK

After a long gestation period, director Asif Kapadia and writer Manish Pandey have finally released the awaited Senna, a documentary about the life and death of three times world champion Ayrton Senna, considered the best Formula 1 driver of all time and the most revered sportsman in Brazilian history.

Senna’s personal life and career were filled with remarkable moments and the documentary doesn’t leave any of these moments out, including some unseen race footages and interviews.

Voiceovers from Formula 1 legends such as Alain Prost, Frank Williams and Ron Dennis – and Ayrton Senna himself – combined with astonishing images make this film a must see for any Formula 1 fan. It is also a chance for younger generations to get to know Ayrton Senna and maybe learn to love this world famous driver, who died in 1994 at the age of 34.
