Africa Oye is the largest African music festival in the UK

Africa Oyé is the UK’s largest celebration of African music and culture and takes place annually in Liverpool. Over two days in June it will be host to a fine selection of African artists from Mali, Cameroon, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Angola, Sahara, Senegal, Mozambique and Madagascar.

Here’s the line-up for the festival:

  • Fatoumata Diawara (Mali)
  • Kakeyce Fotso (Cameroon)
  • Mokoomba (Zimbabwe)
  • Mlimani Hotel Orchestra (Tanzania)
  • Bonga (Angola)
  • Miriem Hassan (Sahara)
  • Damily (Madagascar)
  • Cheny (Mozambique)
  • Abdou Diop (Senegal)
